Dan Geekiyanage is the tax expert at Austral Accountants, overseeing the Accounting and Tax division.
With a Chartered Accountant qualification and over 12 years of experience in that domain, Dan has a refined skillset to serve clients in a range of different industries including construction, professional services, retail, engineering, and investment property to name a few. He combines his vast experience and industry knowledge to provide personalized solutions to clients to make their financial goals a reality. Beyond his professional role, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing interests in Cricket, NRL, and Cycling.
Thomas Dawson is the Principal of Small Business Restructuring Specialists, through which he supports financially distressed companies to successfully navigate the various hurdles posed by high debt levels, which have been made worse by external (and unprecedented) factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic and inflation.
His career spans 25 years in corporate insolvency across many locations such as London, Brisbane, and Sydney, and so he brings a wealth of experience and expert insights to the table.
His professional journey has included positions at both small practices and industry giants like Ernst and Young, culminating in his establishment of a successful small business. As a registered liquidator, Thomas is well-versed in the complexities of corporate insolvency. Udeshika Jayawardena is an experienced litigation lawyer who initially trained and worked at a top-tier lex mundi member firm in its litigation division. and individual clients with a variety of matters relating to both commercial and property matters.
